JOANN VICTOR
JoAnn Victor is an employment and appellate attorney, who has represented a broad range of clients in both the public and private sector. Her primary focus has been on claims of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation based on gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, nationality, disability, and pregnancy.
Ms. Victor attended college at UCLA, where she majored in English and political science. She went on to do graduate work in political science and became an adjunct instructor at California State University, Long Beach, where she continues to lecture in the political science department. Ms. Victor returned to UCLA to do a dual degree in law and in architecture and urban planning. While in law school, she was on law review and was a teaching assistant in legal research and writing. After law school, she continued to teach legal research and writing during her four years as a law clerk at the Second District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles. Subsequently, she worked for several litigation law firms, with a focus on complex research and writing, as well as trial-related work.
